元宵  yuán xiāo   ㄩㄢˊ ㄒㄧㄠ  

元宵节的简称。参见「元宵节」条。

将馅放在铺有糯米粉的竹篮上，再用双手摇晃竹篮，使糯米粉均匀的黏在馅上，如此重复数次而制成的球形食品，称为「元宵」。为元宵节的应时食品。
